FIO Study Abroad in Florida: Field Studies in Marine Science is a 5 week course giving undergraduate students the opportunity learn about diverse coastal and marine habitats at 4 locations around the state. Coral lab attends Our Florida Reefs meeting

Members of the lab attended the 6:00 Stuart Our Florida Reefs meeting hosted by the Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative. Dr. Voss helped to staff the coral and habitat kiosk with Karen Bohnsack and Jena Sansgaard.

Harbor Branch releases coral reef video in conjunction with South Florida Science Center & Aquarium

Harbor Branch researchers collaborated with the South Florida Science Museum and Aquarium to release an informational video about the status of our Florida coral reefs. This informational video will help visitors to the aquarium understand the importance of the reefs close to their shores.

Michael Studivan Speaks to 5th Graders

Ph.D. student Michael Studivan gave a presentation on coral reefs to local fifth graders. The students enjoyed the talk and then participated in discussions on how humans impact reefs.
